Over the course of the exhibition, _Matters will also be hosting a series of talks, tours and workshops, with visiting artists, curators and lecturers and students. Stay tuned for further details and timetable of events!

| Thursday 19th June 2014 | 6pm-8pm | Exhibition Open with tours for Teachers’ Conference.‘Digital Matters’ – Series of short presentations followed by a panel discussion, interrogating making and matter in the so-called post-internet age. The discussion will incorporate the viewpoints of curators, established and emerging artists & museological perspective. |

LO-FI / Onoe Caponoe
On 25th March, _Matters collaborated with LO-FI Leeds who are responsible for a monthly club night at Wire. Thanks to Onoe Capanoe who headlined and the supporting DJ’s who travelled all the way from Paris, it was a memorable night….
Pulp Fiction Film Night
On 15th March we ran the Pulp Fiction theme movie night – held in the Student Union, it featured classic and gourmet popcorn, dressing up fun and previews of art videos from some of the artists included in _Matters. Many thanks again to all who attended for such a great turn out and to the successful work of the fundraising team.
_Matters Gig Night at The Packhorse
_Matters launched its fundraising events programme with a gig night at The Packhorse on 18th February. With an amazing line up of bands, the room was filled to the brim with a high-energy night filled with great musical. Thanks go out to everyone who attended and to all the bands and The Packhorse venue for helping with and excellent night.
